We will have our final fundraiser a Taco Dinner on Saturday, April 22 from 5-7pm. The tacos are stuffed with meat and cheese and then deep fried. The tacos are always delicious served 3 to a plate with a side of rice and beans. The cost is $7 per ticket. The 8th grade will also be selling desserts and snacks and hosting a large raffle for Project Graduation.
The money raised from tickets will go towards expanding our PE and sports program next year. We have secured donations of a new volleyball net and stand and to have the gym painted over the summer. We still need to raise funds for uniforms, equipment and league fees. The Taco Dinner ticket sales will go towards those items.
We have enclosed 5 tickets and ask every family to sell or buy them to support the PE and Sports Program and the class of 2017. Donations of 12 packs of pop are needed too. I know many families have already surpassed their fundraising goal this year and I am forever grateful for your efforts. Please help out one more time for our students. Our students are worth the effort.
We will be pinning 1,500 tacos on Friday, April 21 from 3:30 pm until finished and will need help at the dinner on Saturday. No experience needed, we will train you on the job!
There will also be an Open House from 5-6:30pm for new families to look at the school for next year. Please tell any neighbors, family and friends that might be interested to come and tour the school. Kindergarten roundup will be on May 9 for any student who is 5 years old by August 31.
